Problem with Fax on an iBook - 2008/07/16 12:12 I need help to solve this problem. It is in an iBook and I am using Panther on this. It has a builtin modem. I occasionally used to send Fax.
After many months I wanted to send one Fax. I set up the Fax but as I click on Fax button it seems it tries - shows a progress bar for one or two seconds and nothing happens after that. I tried to reset, restart all possible things but doesn't work. However it receives Fax. I sent one Fax from different machine and the reception is perfect.

The Help Guide also couldn't assist.

Will appreciate any helpor info on this.

Re:Problem with Fax on an iBook - 2008/09/24 00:12 I had the same problem on my iBook, and never got it solved with the Smith Micro software. I ended up purchasing (online) PageSender (http://www.smileonmymac.com/) and that solved everything. Very easy to send faxes from PDF format and it uses your Address Book.

Re:Problem with Fax on an iBook - 2008/10/15 21:46 Thanks for the info. I downloaded a trial version and tried. Didn't work, instead created other problems. I threw out that Pagesender.
I reinstalled the OS (Archive and install) that solved the issue.
