PB G4 fan not working - 2007/05/17 16:33 I recently bought used powerbook g4 in great condition, but one thing worries me..... in more than a month of using it I didn't hear fan turning on once.
Any sugestions?

Re:PB G4 fan not working - 2007/05/18 01:27 As long as it's not overheating and freezing I would not worry about it. It may not be warm enough to cause the fan to run.

Download one of the temperature sensing applications to check your CPU temp if you want to see if it is running too warm.

Re:PB G4 fan not working - 2007/05/18 08:41 thanx for your reply, I installed temperature monitor...it gets up to 53-54 degrees celsius max on power supply and few degrees less on processor, so i guess that's the answer why there's no sound of fan turning on.
