ibook widescreen monitor question - 2007/03/11 14:12I have an ibook that I can hook up to a 17" monitor with no trouble. We just bought a 19" widescreen flat panel monitor yesterday and when that is hooked up it stretches everything and loses clarity. Any ideas to correct this problem?

Re:ibook widescreen monitor question - 2007/03/11 14:27What system are you using? On X, go to the Displays Control Pane and see if you can fix the problem by choosing a different resolution or clicking on "Detect Display." If not, then the iBook's video card may not be able to handle the 19" monitor. Don't know that for a fact, just surmising.
