can't get my outlook express to work on craigslist - 2009/03/12 23:19Hello folks/mac friends:
Don't know what has happened but I cannot get my Outlook express email to work when I use craigslist. My youngest son got on the mac and did something and it's been that way since; heres the story: When i send email or receive emails it is from my Outlook Express account but since my Son has gooten into the mac what has happened is that when I get on Craigslist to research something I would just click on the "sale xxxxxxxxxx info and Outlook Express would come up and take over the message that I wanted to compose and send it accordingly; Now, when I am on craigslist and click on the "sale xxxxxxxx" to send a email asking about something from a seller the MAC MAIL opens and instead of Outlook Express. And, it will not work anyways.... I want my Outlook as it was but I don't know what has happened or how to get it to be the one that works with craigslist (or any sending mail) again. Any help is sincerely appreciated and welcome. Thanks for now JIM

Re:can't get my outlook express to work on craigsl - 2009/04/03 02:38I assume you are on OS X, since you mention Mac Mail.
Your default Email program definition has been changed, by someone. With OS X.4 Tiger which I'm on, it is changed in Mail Preferences. With OS X.? previous I believe it is changed in System > Preferences > Internet.
I suggest you not let others use your Mac UserID. You can set up addition UserIDs for other to use your Mac, protecting your UserID from changes.
