Fair Price for used iMac G4,1.25Ghz,20in - 2008/10/15 12:16What would a fair price be for an iMac G4, 1.25Ghz, 256MB RAM, 20 in. Monitor, 80G HD? It's used but in good condition.

Re:Fair Price for used iMac G4,1.25Ghz,20in - 2008/10/15 18:30That is still a pretty desirable iMac with the 20" screen. The prices listed on this site don't get updated often so you cannot go by the $7-800 listed in the specifications section for your Mac here.
There is a site called Mac2sell that will calculate the resale value and it shows your iMac is worth $380.00 with a DVD burner.
A quick look at recent eBay sales for the same base model shows they sell for around $400 + shipping ($40-50).
I would say a fair price would be $400-450 in the US, more if you are overseas. One sold for $840 in the UK but it had the Airport card and more RAM which will add some value. I wouldn't sell it for less than $350.

Re:Fair Price for used iMac G4,1.25Ghz,20in - 2008/10/16 02:47Just a reminder that the used prices on EveryMac.com are retail prices representing an average retail price when last updated (prices are updated on average twice a year with the date last updated on the bottom of every page). An individual selling his or her own Mac directly should not expect to obtain a retail price, just as an individual selling a used car or any other product should not expect to command a retail price.
I hope this is helpful.
Cheers,
