Re:G4 867X2 MDD - 2009/10/12 22:29 Thanks Harry, the ATI card still works, and the power supply is shot and I think it may have taken the MB with it, and I've already ordered a replacement MacPro, it will be a few weeks before it gets here, my trusty Pismo is covering for now, I forgot how slow this thing can be!!
As far as a UPS, all my computers have them, my TV's and sound equipment have them also, I live in the desert area of southern California, I learned several years ago when it took my first Mac out, it was a brown out and the power supply went south as well as my TVs, they told me at the TV repair shop that was the problem, I never trusted them, this time I don't know why, BUT O WELL!! ;~)'

I have a few power supply's lying around I might try to rig one to see if it will boot, at least I don't think it would hurt, I just got to get by the start button?
