Re:safari - 2009/06/13 02:24 Eternalvibe Click on Safari/ then select Reset Safari. Tick the boxes one by one, running Safari after each selection. When Safari crashes you have found the cause.
Be careful, I finished up with all Bookmarks etc wiped. To Trash Cookies it was necessary to use Spotlight to find it.

Re Safari 4, as Caciedo wrote, it is faster. I get a newsletter with links to other sources. Clicking on the link and connecting is practically instantaneous. But it took a couple of days for Safari

Re:safari - 2009/06/14 10:44 my complaint was 100% true when i first posted this topic...

however, safari 4 has instantly became my default browser...

it's not remembering passwords like firefox but it's super fast, not crashing, and top sites is the coolest thing ever...

now for suggestions, make a cover flow bookmark option, instead of cover flow history which just gets kind of confusing especially if you are apt to go back & forth in one webpage like i am...also, it would be cool if top sites were "live" instead of cached/cookies...still, awesome browser.

Re:safari - 2009/06/14 21:19 Eternalvibe, you weren't the only one. Bookmarks didn't come up on the lefthand side. Mutter, mutter, then, "Oh they're on the page."
Safari 4 appeared to take a while to settle in, but it's fast alright. As I previously wrote, I have a daily newsletter with links to other sources. Safari 3 would take its time opening the web page, but not Safari 4 .
