Apple monitor information sought - 2009/11/06 23:45 I just picked up an 8" or 9" Apple monitor Model #GO9OH, manufactured in 1985. It also shows this # A2M4090.
It uses an input similar to a phono jack FOR THE VIDEO.
Can any one tell me any thing about this?
It may have been used by a printing Co. or newspaper Co.
It is very small, and has a tripod connection underneath. It is definitely an Apple. It looks & is made EXACTLY like a #A2M6014, but is very very small.

Re:Apple monitor information sought - 2009/11/07 17:09 Cool find...

That's an Apple with the composite (RCA jack) video connection for Apple II's. Google the model number and you'll find more info.

It's not made for a tripod. It came with a "C" shaped stand for the keyboard to fit underneath.

Re:Apple monitor information sought - 2009/11/08 20:36 I'm not very familiar with the Apple II's and I think some models used different video ports but I'm not positive. My Apple III monitor has the composite port so maybe they all used composite.

What exact model of the Apple II do you have ?

Does your Apple II have a video cable ? What kind of connector ?

Re:Apple monitor information sought - 2009/11/08 21:12 By Gosh! It has an RCA video jack for a Monochrome Monitor. I never paid any attention to this. Thanks again for you thoughts & information. Are you on facebook? I have Mac pictures & videos on our pages.
