SSL in Outlook 4.5 - 2009/06/09 08:43 Hi all,

I have put Outlook Express 4.5 on my Powerbook 1400cs (System 7.6.1) and I haven't been able to receive my email. I enabled SSL for incoming and outgoing mail like I'm supposed to (I use gmail) but when I try to send and receive I get the error message: "Mail could not be received at this time. Security failure. The server reply is invalid." I assume that this has to do with SSL. Why would this be happening? How can I fix this? By the way, in the gmail-outlook setup instructions it said that I should be using my full email address as the username, but the settings in Outlook 4.5 don't let me use the '@' symbol so I can't; could this have to do with the problem?

Thanks in advance!
