LC II photo - 2009/04/17 09:35 The photo of the Mac LC II as it's shown on the product information, provided by Apple, does NOT show an LC II.
The slits for the floppy disks is not different to the LC, this picture shows a 4-- I don't know, maybe a 400, I've never seen one, maybe a 450 or 475.

Re:LC II photo - 2009/04/17 17:20 If you go to the Apple specs of this site, by clicking Apple and choosing 'LC', the LC shown here is correct including the one floppy slot.

Ahh that 10MB memory and the hard disk drive - what an improvement and we would NEVER fill that!!

Re:LC II photo - 2009/04/17 17:43 WhyOSX, you're right -- In 1996, when I created EveryMac.com, I just used a later LC model for that photo. I'll add taking a photo of one of my old original LC/LC IIs to my list of things to do.

Thanks for the sharp eyes!

Cheers,

Re:LC II photo - 2009/04/17 21:11 I could provide a photo of the High Resolution (13") Monitor as well, that this site is missing, look:
http://retromaccast.ning.com/photo/mac-iivx-1993-setup
Of course I'd take a better one then, or get myself help by professionals. Are these monitors so rare ?

A third thing that I have on my mind is about the 603ev processor, built in in the 5500 - but this is a minor complaint (ev instead of e).

Y'know, I'm often referring to this great site, but things are never so good they might not be improved. With a little help from us all...

Re:LC II photo - 2009/04/17 21:13 But you know Apple's understanding of 'support', don't we all ?

Re:LC II photo - 2009/04/19 23:58 WhyOSX (Lars) -- Received your e-mail as well. Feel free to take professional quality photographs (proper lighting and composition on a white background) of vintage hardware you have that is not currently available on EveryMac.com and send them in for consideration.

Thanks again!

Cheers,

Brock
