Motherboard - 2007/04/30 13:12 Hi,
I'm working on building a new computer, it's my first time so if you have any suggestions let me know please.

So far I have everything that i will need except for a motherboard and maybe a new Hard Drive.

I've dismantled my old tibook, and threw it away, but I have kept, The Hard Drive (idk if it works), The Battery, 2 512mb sdram sticks, Speakers, and Mic, Keyboard, DVD Drive, Modem Cord, Airport card and Attenas, and Power Button. All of which (except the HD) are in perfect working condition.

I am building the computer into my desk, so that it will be built into it and so that the Screen will be on the wall.

I need a Mother board from a tibook, with slots for airport and pci, usb and other ports, as well as Sdram slots and a CPU, all of which is already on a motherboard anyway.
I may need an HD, so if you have a motherboard with an HD or an HD that will work with a tibook please let me know.

I also need to find out how to extend the wires from the various parts I now have so if anyone has any info... that'd be great.

I am willing to pay 100-300 for a motherboard with/without an HD, or 30-80 for a working HD. I will not buy anything though until I'm sure my plans will work, so please let me know any info you can on building a computer.

Thank You Very Much

-Wes
