Non-swappable batteries? - 2009/06/16 02:45 Apple states:
"Some Apple portable computers like the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro (17-inch, Early 2009) do not have batteries you can remove yourself. If there is a need to replace or swap the battery in one of these systems please contact an Apple-Authorized Service Provider or Apple Retail Store"

Question:
Is this a situation that applies to technically well educated people?

I'm familiar with swapping motherboards in old G3 iMac's, where you have to take apart almost the whole machine. So what's up with these MacBookPro's batteries?
