Macbook Inverter/LCD issues - 2008/11/24 15:25 I have an intel based MACBOOK (white) dual USB. I received it form a client(I fix PC's)
I have loaded OSX 10.5 - It works fine.

I can only use it with an external display using MAC. when I press F7 it will light up for a brief second, everynow & again it stays on for seconds
If then I load up Parallels, I can run XP fine, when I initialize dual display the LCD works great, yes running XP
Under normal MAC operation(on the external display) when I unplug the unit it seems to sometimes go into some sort of sleep mode, (or is it just sleeping the display??)
YES I have checked energy saver, turned everything off.

I am trying ot learn/figure out if its my inverter board(small at the base of the LCD) or Do anyone have one?

PLEASE HELP !

Dan
