Re:Anti-Glare Screen for MacBook? - 2008/08/20 18:40 Before I offer up any suggestions let me ask a couple of questions that may be relevant to the conditions under which you may use your proposed MacBook that would benefit by using an anti-glare screen.
Will you be using your laptop outdoors and in bright sunlight?
How portable do you require the anti-glare screen- must it fit in your laptop case? Are you looking for something that will stay on your display when its closed?

There are a few options- the bulky and awkward looking attachable, folding shields for use in bright sunlight: http://www.mobilevehiclemounts.com/acc_pc_shade.htm
and

Or the film type screens from 3M like:

Caveat: I don't have any experience using any of these items myself, I just got curious about finding possible answers. Also since you don't specify anything about the environmental conditions that motivate you to ask the question in the first place, these suggestions are very generalized. In addition, I can't say I've ever seen anyone using a glare shield on a Mac laptop- ever. That makes your question that much more unique!

I hope the links work- the preview mode for checking the posts doesn't.
Good luck with your hunt.
