They should sell off the remaining stock cheap.

That won't happen. Never has before and never will.......

You will find deals with free printers and other extra goodies with the old iMacs at some of the resellers though.

Apple is pretty good at not having tons of old stock lying around and never need to "liquidate" to clear the warehouses like many companies who overproduce their goods.

Re:Discussion Q&A - Aluminum iMac? - 2007/08/12 17:52 In this day with displays running at 20", 22", 30" and larger, don't know if there would be much interest in future all-in-ones.

With the G5 iMac, awful difficult to get into the HDD and superdrive unless one takes it back to the dealer, but then again...................

Re:Discussion Q&A - Aluminum iMac? - 2007/08/12 20:11 think the black imac looks sweet but do wish that you didnt have to have a glossy screen. glossy would look crispy in the dark for movies but not so good in a classroom. i wish it had better graphics but at least its not gma950. if i could add something i would add a builtin ipod dock.

Re:Discussion Q&A - Aluminum iMac? - 2007/08/12 22:03 I also believe that Apple should have glossy or matte displays for the iMac. If the idea is to make the alum iMac more professional then it should be able to be used under flourescent lights. The glare from a glossy display would be bad in my office.

If they can manage either option for the MacBook Pro and they want pros who don't need the max power or expansion of the Mac Pro to consider the iMac they should have a matte option, no??
