Cannot start IPod- battery died during data wipe - 2009/06/20 10:33 Can someone please help. I was cleaning off all my data from my ITouch 32gb when the battery ran out during the process. Now I cannot start it at all. When I press the on/off I get the "apple" icon for awhile then it goes blank. The same thing happens when I hold down the on/off and menu button for 5 - 10 seconds.

Nothing seems to help. I have been recharging but to no avail! I am trying to clear it off to sell since I just got an IPhone.

Any assitance is greatly appreciated.
