help novice with multiple ipods on 1 computer - 2009/06/16 21:30 Hi yall. Im a pretty novice ipod user. Had my ipod for 2 years now but I haven't tried many things with it. I have my ipod setup and everything is good. But now I need to run a second ipod off my same computer and we dont want the play lists traded among the 2 ipods.

I have searched here and read a couple help tutorials without much luck. Im scared Im going to delete my 1st ipods files and be screwed for good.

My ipod is a 2 year old Ipod Video. My GF just got a new ipod nano for her stuff. Its all ran off of a Dell PC with windows XP.

I think I read if I start 2 different user accounts on my windows start up screen, I can run itunes separately in each user account without the music files being transferred between. Is this correct?

thanks for your help. Im really frustrated right now...... lol
