Ipod shuffle problems - 2009/06/11 07:23 Just bought my ipod shuffle 2gb 2nd generation and having a problem with it. I charged it up with a mains charger and it indicated green to say it was done. I put it into my computer and it does nothing. The computer doesn't detect it. When I switch it on it will either a) go green for ten secs and then turn off b) flash green on and off for a little while then turn off. c)go green and then orange and then turn off. I am aware that this is an error message. My computer does not detect it on i tunes or on windows. I have up to date i tunes 8.2. I can't restore to factory settings if my computer won't detect it in the first place.

I tried switching it off for 10 seconds and then switching it on again a few times and the computer still doesn't detect it. I also tried it in different USB ports.

Was wondering if anybody had any suggestions as I am at a loss.
