iPod flashes white - 2008/07/10 02:37 I haven't used my iPod for awhile. When I went back to it, it wouldn't turn on. I plugged it into the charger and let it charge overnight. When I came back in the morning, it still wouldn't turn on. What is strange, though, is that whenever it's plugged in, the screen flashes white at random.

I followed apple's instructions for resetting and restoring, but nothing seems to work. Once, I was able to reset it for a few minutes, but it quickly went back to dying and flashing white when plugged in.

Any ideas on how to fix it? It's about 3 years old. Should I just be getting a new one?

Re:iPod flashes white - 2008/07/30 08:35 its 3 years old and you havent used it for a while sounds like the battery is dying. you can replace the battery.
