Re:Whack your iPod to fix it! - 2007/04/18 09:45 That's how I usually try to fix a Windoze PC first, but it never works. I keep a hammer nearby just to intimidate the PC but that never works either.

Then I'm tempted to throw it, and all of it's adware/pop-ups and tojans out the window...... That''s why they call it Windoze ya know.

Good to hear you got the iPod working. I had mine freeze up and do nothing but show the dead battery icon. I left it on and let the battery discharge all the way and sit for a few days, then plugged it in, it started charging and everything was ducky again.

It is a good idea to reformat and restore it to original settings just in case.
