20GB G4 iPod loses it place -- why? - 2007/03/12 19:01 I'm listening to an audiobook or a podcast. My iPod pauses then jumps to the first item in the first playlist following the "Recently Played" playlist. When I get back to the file that I was playing, it starts at the beginning, not where I was. My "place" in the file is lost.

This never happens during a song, so I suspect it's a characteristic of larger files (1 hour or more).

This happens about once a day, and *sometimes* while I'm handling the iPod, but not always. I play my iPod for maybe 3 hours a day during my commute. Help--this is maddening!
