MAC PRO restarts itself after startup. - 2008/10/06 15:16 Hello everyone, my name is Rey Santiago, I'm new on this forum and I'm seeking some help with my Mac Pro.

I have a Mac Pro Quad Processor and it keeps restarting itself after aprox. 5 minutes from startup, everything works fine until everything goes black and restarts over and over again.

Would this be the battery or power supply? Can someone answer this question?

Thanks,
RS

Re:MAC PRO restarts itself after startup. - 2008/10/06 16:20 Rey is there any chance the Mac Pro is still under warranty?

If you go to Apple Discussions you will find page after page of Mac Pros with rebooting problems. If it is under warranty contact Apple today and make sure you get a reference number.

Re:MAC PRO restarts itself after startup. - 2008/10/06 16:59 Hey Harry, thanks for your reply, I bought it around Feb. 2007 and I didn't use it for like 7 months, I don't know if that has something to do with it.

I don't know if it's still under the warranty, but I'll check that out.

Thanks again,
RS
